Upload files with drag and drop, cross-projects Files view. Task lists options, private apps and more
We are happy to say that thanks to your feedback the GroupCamp Product team has brought a series of improvements in its new release. Here they are:
Files app : drag and drop files to upload them
To access the drag and drop feature, please use the ‘multiple uploads’ form. You can now drag and drop files from your files browser or your desktop directly into the Groupcamp Files app to upload them. Supported browsers include; Firefox and Chrome. Hopefully Internet Explorer 10 and version 6 of Safari will support it in the near future (tech talk: this implementation is based on HTML5).
Filter users by their invitation status
- For Administrators using the ‘Users’ app, users in each company are now displayed with their invitation status.
Tasks application: task lists options.
For those who are used to changing task list options this is something they will definitely enjoy. When changing options on a task list, for instance enabling task types, you can apply the change to all other task lists of the project with one click. This type of feature addition is something we are very proud of. It shows how important it is that you send us even the smallest of ideas, the only risk is that we implement it in a future release.
Displaying ‘private’ in application tabs
For our groupcampers who use private applications (to prevent a company from seing the app), authorised user can now see the ‘Private’ lavel next to the App name. (see screenshot above)
Finally the cross-project files view.
Ever wondered in which project you actually uploaded a file. We are starting to work on a cross-project view for files management. This first version lets you see the most recently uploaded files in all your projects.
As always your feedback is welcome.
