How to use starred items, menus, filters and groups in GroupCamp
This GroupCamp FAQ explains how to use the Starred feature to save time and improve your user experience. With this feature you can use starred items, starred menus, starred filters and starred groups.
Everything starred by a user is specific to that user. Anything you star does not apply to other users in GroupCamp.

You can star items: Posts, Topics, Files, Milestones, Task lists, Tasks, Wiki pages, etc.
Click on the star icon in applications to add it to your starred items. To remove something from your starred items, simple click on the icon again to deselect it.
You can filter your starred items using the Starred menu of an app.
The Starred items criterion can be found in the feed filters of the applications: Items feed, New items feed, Group feed, etc. The Starred items criterion can also be found in the Inbox application for the Messages menu and Items I created menu.
The Home > Overview app and the Starred menu
New starred items are automatically placed at the top of the list of your starred items. The Home > Overview application with its Starred menu sorts all your starred items from newest to oldest.
The starred menu is displayed when accessing an application (click on an application tab).
With the starred menus, you can decide which menu should be shown when you access an application.
Drag your mouse over the menus of an application to make the Star icon appear.
Click on the star icon to select your favorite menu. To deselect it, simply click on it again or on a different menu.
A vertical line indicates what your starred menu is for that application.
Starred filters allow saving custom filters in applications.
Click on the application’s Filter button.
You can save the filters you use for quick access.
The filter saves the menu and the selected criteria. Saved filters are listed in alphabetical order.
Use your mouse to modify or delete a filter.
Note: you can make one of your starred filters as your starred menu for the application.
Starred groups allow you to choose the order in which they are displayed. Put your most active groups at the top of the list. Here is an example with project groups.
Click on the Starred groups link to modify the list.
Click on the star icon to modify the list. Click and drag the double arrow to reorder the list.
Note: in applications, the Starred projects choice lets you filter the list of your projects.

You can enable or disable Starred items and Starred menus. All other features can’t be disabled. This is the case for all users in your in account.
